Privacy policy

Learn what data HIT La Radio uses when you listen to stations or send a contact message.

Last updated: October 9, 2026

1. Who to contact

HIT La Radio operates this website from Costa Rica. For questions about your personal data or to exercise your rights, email info@hitlaradio.com. Tell us which message or request you mean so we can locate it.

2. Information we receive

When you submit the contact form, we receive the name, email address, subject and message you provide. The emailed message also includes the IP address from which the form was submitted. The server and technical providers may process connection details such as IP address, time, browser and requests to provide and protect the service.

The player and music lists retrieve station and music-service data. You do not need an account to listen. Certain preferences, such as station, volume and reminders, are stored in your browser; HIT La Radio does not use them to create a user profile.

3. How we use information

We do not sell contact-form data. This version of the website does not include our own personalized advertising or visitor-analytics tools.

4. Third-party services

Streams and metadata come from the stations' infrastructure; your browser connects directly to the audio server when you press Play. Some artist biographies and music information may come from Last.fm. The contact form loads Google reCAPTCHA and submits verification data, including your IP address, to reduce spam. Fonts and visual resources may also load from external providers. Social media and PayPal links lead to services with their own policies.

5. Retention and security

Messages remain in the mailboxes involved while needed to handle the inquiry, administer the service or meet applicable obligations. Technical-log retention depends on the hosting and service providers. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet transmission is completely secure.

6. Your choices and rights

You may request access, correction or deletion of your personal data, as applicable under relevant law, by emailing info@hitlaradio.com. We may need to verify your identity and retain some information where legally required. You can clear local preferences and manage cookies in your browser settings; see our Cookie policy.

7. Updates

We will review this policy if website features or providers change. The current version will be available on this page.
